The City of Hartford utilities include electricity, water and wastewater. The electrical system includes two electrical power substations serving 1400 customers. The water system serves 1450 customers and consists of three wells with a total of 950 gallons per minute, two elevated tanks with a total capacity of 600,000, and 30+ miles of distribution system piping. The wastewater is pumped to a lagoon system with a capacity of 0.5 MGD and serves 1235 customers.
